Scent Guide: Our Therapeutic Grade Essential Oils

Proust points out how recall of long lost memories can be vividly triggered by sense of smell and how intricately our brains perceive and process specific scents.  Aromas can do more than jog memories though, scents affect us in complex ways that can alter mood and mindset, and ultimately aromatherapy is about self-care. Surrounding yourself with scents that can promote positive associations and are helpful in specific areas can exploit the healing connection between scent and well-being. 

Our Scents A-Z

Apple - Loads of research shows that the familiar scent of apple comforts, helps relieve anxiousness and helps alleviate headaches.

Black Licorice - Helps ease stress, anxiety and promotes restfulness.

Blueberry - Promotes relaxation and a sense of calm.

Butterscotch - Promotes contentment.    

Clove - Promotes restfulness, can improve breathing.    

Eucalyptus - Revitalizes as well as soothes. It helps focus the mind and it's my go to meditative fragrance.

Campfire - Connects you with nature, promotes a sense of contentment and ease.

Caramel -  Helps induce a sense of peacefulness.  

Chai - The ginger and cinnamon that partially comprise  Chai scent simultaneously stimulates and comforts. Their  combined complexity evoke feelings of warmth, calm and contentment.

Cherry - Revitalizes and stimulates.

Cinnamon - Helps induce relaxation, improves focus and motivation, and promotes sleep.

Citronella -  Has calming effects. 

Chocolate / Cacao Base - Can promote feelings of well-being and suppress appetite.
