ABOUT

I'm a big believer in the Proust Effect, which describes how scents and memories are intertwined, and also a proponent of aromatherapy and the exploration of the healing connection between scent and well-being. As a lifelong maker of things I've focused my energies on creating scented products and I've gravitated toward the organic and sustainable because to me, goods in their natural state denote at once progressive thinking about the future and the purity and quality of the past. With this mindset, I formed Luna Park Aromatics in the Luna Park historic district of Charleston, WV.  It's the former site of a 1920s era amusement park pictured in the image at the top of the home page, and now it's where I do my thing.   C.D.
